To ensure a smooth journey, please read and understand the most important terms below before your trip.
1. Critical Information for Your Travel Day
- Check-in Time: You must arrive at the TravelBusAsia check-in point at least 60 minutes prior to departure to avoid missing the bus/ferry.
- Crucial: Customer Responsibility for Check-in
The bus and ferry will depart On-Time and will not wait for late passengers (Late Arrival). Should you arrive at the check-in point after the designated time (Late Check-in), this will be considered the sole responsibility of the passenger, and your booking will be canceled with No Refund. You are therefore responsible for managing your time to ensure arrival by the required check-in time only. - For Passengers with Connecting Flights or Onward Travel:
Please be aware that travel may be delayed due to weather or other unforeseen factors. Therefore, you must allow a buffer of at least 5 hours between the scheduled arrival time and your flight's departure time. - Disclaimer: The company will not be held responsible for any damages or losses in the event of a missed flight or other connecting journeys due to travel delays.
2. Baggage Policy and Additional Fees
- Checked Baggage: 1 piece per passenger is allowed. The weight must not exceed 20 kilograms.
- Carry-on Baggage: Small personal bags are allowed free of charge.
- Excess Baggage: Additional bags will be subject to an extra charge, starting from THB 200 per piece.
- Fees for Special Baggage:
Water Sports Equipment: Starts at THB 400.
Bicycles: Only foldable bicycles are permitted, with a fee starting from THB 700. Non-foldable bicycles are not allowed on board. - Note: The fees listed for special baggage are starting prices. The final fee will be assessed by staff at the check-in counter.
- Koh Tao Entrance Fee: Passengers aged 12 and over must pay a THB 20 fee per person at the pier (this is not included in the ticket price).
- Pets: Pets of any kind are not allowed on the bus or ferry.
3. Cancellation and Booking Change Policy
- No-Show: If you fail to appear at the scheduled time without prior notice, your booking will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.
- Cancellation by Passenger:
Full Refund: Cancellations must be requested in writing at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure.
No Refund: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure are non-refundable.
Exception: In cases of force majeure, please provide supporting documents for special consideration. - Cancellation by the Operator: The company reserves the right to cancel or change the trip due to unforeseen circumstances affecting safety (e.g., severe weather, technical issues). In such cases, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered the choice between:
Rescheduling to a new trip, or
Receiving a full refund.
